Bu Gizlilik Politikası, Gist mobil uygulamasını ve ilgili hizmetleri (“Hizmet”) kullanırken bilgilerinizi nasıl topladığımızı, kullandığımızı, sakladığımızı, paylaştığımızı ve koruduğumuzu açıklar. Hizmeti kullanarak bu Politikayı kabul etmiş olursunuz. Kabul etmiyorsanız lütfen Hizmeti kullanmayın.
1. Kimiz?
Gist; kısa dersler, kurslar, quizler, ilerleme takibi, isteğe bağlı yapay zekâ ile üretilen kurslar ve premium abonelik özellikleri sunan bir mikro öğrenme uygulamasıdır.

2. Topladığımız bilgiler
2.1 Hesap ve kimlik bilgileri
Hesap oluşturduğunuzda veya giriş yaptığınızda şunları toplayabiliriz:
- Firebase kullanıcı kimliği (UID)
- E-posta adresi
- Görünen ad
- Profil fotoğrafı (yüklerseniz veya giriş sağlayıcınız sağlarsa)
- Giriş sağlayıcı bilgisi (Google ile Giriş ve/veya Apple ile Giriş)
Hizmetin bazı bölümlerini misafir olarak gezebilirsiniz. Öğrenme ilerlemesi senkronu, premium, yapay zekâ kurs talepleri ve bazı hesap işlemleri için giriş gerekir.
2.2 Onboarding ve tercih bilgileri
Kurulum ve profil adımlarında gönüllü olarak verdiğiniz şu bilgileri toplayabiliriz:
- Cinsiyet
- Yaş aralığı
- Alan / birincil alan
- İlgi alanları ve konu tercihleri
- Motivasyon ve öğrenme alışkanlıkları
- Seviye ve format tercihleri
- Günlük öğrenme hedefi
- Okul deneyimi ve bilgi kaynakları tercihleri
- Seri (streak) hedefleri ve ilgili taahhütler
Misafir onboarding cevapları, giriş yapıp senkronize edene kadar cihazınızda geçici olarak saklanabilir.
2.3 Profil ve ayarlar
Şunları saklayabiliriz:
- Görünen ad ve fotoğraf URL’si
- Tema ve dil tercihleri
- Bildirim tercihleri ve izin durumu
- Yapılandırdığınız diğer uygulama içi ayarlar
2.4 Öğrenme ve kullanım verileri
Hizmeti işletmek için şu öğrenme verilerini işleriz:
- Kurs ilerlemesi ve tamamlanma durumu
- Ders denemeleri, skorlar ve ilgili geçmiş
- XP / özet istatistikler
- Seri (streak) verileri
- Görev / challenge ilerlemesi
- Kaydedilen kurslar
- Kurs geri bildirimleri ve puanlamalar
- Mikro bilgi içerik görüntülemeleri
- Cihazda saklanan son aramalar ve son ders önbelleği
2.5 Yapay zekâ kurs talep verileri
Yapay zekâ ile kurs talep ederseniz gönderdiğiniz şu bilgiler işlenir:
- Konu, kategori, hedef, açıklama
- Seviye, süre, dil
- Öğrenme stili ve hariç tutulan konular
Bu içerik, kurs materyali üretmek için üçüncü taraf yapay zekâ sağlayıcılarına gönderilebilir. Bu sağlayıcılar tarafından işlenmesini istemediğiniz hassas kişisel verileri istemlere yazmayın.
2.6 Geri bildirim ve raporlar
Geri bildirim gönderir veya ders içeriği bildirirseniz şunları toplayabiliriz:
- Kullanıcı kimliğiniz
- Mesaj içeriği
- Dil / yerel ayar
- İlgili kurs/ders tanımlayıcıları
- Zaman damgası ve işlem durumu
2.7 Cihaz ve bildirim verileri
İzin verdiğinizde bildirim göndermek için şunları toplayabiliriz:
- Anlık bildirim jetonu (FCM / APNs)
- Cihaz platformu
- İzin durumu
- Dil, saat dilimi ve saat dilimi farkı
- Bildirim kaydını yönetmek için kullanılan yerel cihaz kimliği
2.8 Abonelik ve satın alma verileri
Premium satın alır veya geri yüklerseniz; Apple App Store / Google Play ve abonelik ortağımız Adapty üzerinden abonelikle ilgili bilgileri işleriz. Bunlar şunları içerebilir:
- Ürün kimlikleri ve satın alma / geri yükleme olayları
- Hak / premium durumu
- Premium’u açmak için gereken plan türü ve ilgili metadata
Tam ödeme kartı bilgilerinizi almayız veya saklamayız. Ödemeler Apple veya Google tarafından işlenir.
2.9 Analitik SDK’ları ile şu an toplamadığımız bilgiler
Uygulamada şu anda Firebase Analytics veya Firebase Crashlytics çalıştırmıyoruz. Ayrıca reklam SDK’ları veya App Tracking Transparency / IDFA tabanlı reklam takibi kullanmıyoruz.
3. Bilgileri nasıl kullanırız?
Yukarıdaki bilgileri şu amaçlarla kullanırız:
- Hesabınızı oluşturmak ve yönetmek
- Onboarding, öneriler ve öğrenme deneyimini kişiselleştirmek
- Kurs, quiz, ilerleme, seri ve görevleri sunmak
- Premium satın alımlarını işlemek ve hakları geri yüklemek
- Talep ettiğiniz yapay zekâ kurslarını üretmek
- İşlemsel ve isteğe bağlı etkileşim bildirimleri göndermek
- Destek, geri bildirim ve içerik raporlarına yanıt vermek
- Güvenliği sağlamak, kötüye kullanımı önlemek ve Koşullarımızı uygulamak
- Ürün özelliklerini ve içerik kalitesini iyileştirmek
- Yasal yükümlülüklere uymak
4. Hukuki dayanaklar (uygulanabildiği yerlerde)
Konumunuza bağlı olarak kişisel verileri şu dayanaklardan biriyle işleriz:
- Sözleşme: talep ettiğiniz Hizmeti sunmak için
- Açık rıza: isteğe bağlı bildirimler, bazı tercihler ve yasaların gerektirdiği hallerde
- Meşru menfaat: haklarınızı gözeterek Hizmeti güvenli işletmek ve geliştirmek
- Yasal yükümlülük: saklama veya açıklamanın zorunlu olduğu hallerde
6. Uluslararası aktarımlar
Hizmet sağlayıcılarımız, verilerinizi ikamet ettiğiniz ülke dışındaki ülkelerde (Avrupa Birliği, Amerika Birleşik Devletleri ve bulut/YZ sağlayıcılarının faaliyet gösterdiği diğer bölgeler dâhil) işleyebilir. Gerektiğinde bu sağlayıcıların sunduğu uygun güvencelere ve yürürlükteki hukuka dayanırız.
7. Veri saklama
Kişisel verileri hesabınız aktif olduğu sürece ve Hizmeti sunmak için gerektiği ölçüde saklarız.
- Hesap, profil, öğrenme ve ayar verileri genellikle hesabınızı silene kadar tutulur.
- Misafir taslakları ve bazı önbellekler cihazınızda temizlenene, üzerine yazılana veya hesap senkronu olana kadar kalabilir.
- Geri bildirim/rapor kayıtları; moderasyon, kötüye kullanım önleme ve hizmet iyileştirme için hesap silindikten sonra da tutulabilir ve eski kullanıcı kimliği içerebilir.
- Abonelik kayıtları faturalama desteği, hak doğrulama ve yasal/muhasebe amaçlarıyla gerektiği kadar saklanabilir.
- Yapay zekâ üretiminden türetilen anonimleştirilmiş veya kimlikten ayrılmış içerik, hesap silindikten sonra Hizmette kalabilir.
8. Haklarınız ve tercihleriniz
Konumunuza bağlı olarak şu haklara sahip olabilirsiniz:
- Hakkınızda tuttuğumuz kişisel verilere erişim
- Yanlış verilerin düzeltilmesi
- Hesabınızın ve ilgili kişisel verilerin silinmesi
- Belirli işlemlere itiraz veya kısıtlama
- Rızaya dayalı işlemelerde rızayı geri çekme
- Belirli verilerin bir kopyasını alma / taşıma
Uygulama içi kontroller
- Profil bilgilerinizi ve tercihlerinizi uygulamada güncelleyin
- Bildirim izinlerini uygulama ve cihaz ayarlarından yönetin
- Abonelikleri Apple ID / Google Play hesap ayarlarından yönetin veya iptal edin
- Uygulama içi hesap silme akışını kullanın (sunulduğu yerde)
Haklarınızı kullanmak veya yardım istemek için a.farukturgut@gmail.com adresine yazın. Belirli talepleri yerine getirmeden önce kimliğinizi doğrulamamız gerekebilir.
9. Çocukların gizliliği
Gist, 13 yaşın altındaki çocuklara (veya ülkenizdeki asgari yaşın altındakilere) yönelik değildir. Bu yaşın altındaki çocuklardan bilerek kişisel veri toplamayız. Bir çocuğun bize kişisel veri verdiğini düşünüyorsanız bizimle iletişime geçin; silmek için uygun adımları atarız.
10. Güvenlik
Kişisel verileri korumak için makul idari, teknik ve organizasyonel önlemler kullanırız; kimlik doğrulamalı erişim kontrolleri ve bulut sağlayıcı güvenlik özellikleri buna dâhildir. Hiçbir iletim veya saklama yöntemi %100 güvenli değildir; mutlak güvenlik garanti edemeyiz.
11. Üçüncü taraf bağlantılar ve hizmetler
Hizmet; üçüncü taraf sitelere bağlantılar içerebilir veya Apple, Google, yapay zekâ sağlayıcıları gibi platformlara dayanabilir. Bunların gizlilik uygulamaları kendi politikalarına tabidir. Üçüncü taraf uygulamalarından sorumlu değiliz.
12. Bu Politikanın değişiklikleri
Bu Gizlilik Politikasını zaman zaman güncelleyebiliriz. Güncelleme yapıldığında üstteki “Son güncelleme” tarihi değişir. Yasaların ek rıza gerektirmediği durumlarda, güncellemeden sonra Hizmeti kullanmaya devam etmeniz revize edilmiş Politikayı kabul ettiğiniz anlamına gelir.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you use the Gist mobile application and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
Gist is a microlearning application that provides short lessons, courses, quizzes, progress tracking, optional AI-generated courses, and premium subscription features.

2. Information we collect
2.1 Account and identity information
When you create or sign in to an account, we may collect:
- Firebase user ID (UID)
- Email address
- Display name
- Profile photo (if you upload one or if your sign-in provider supplies one)
- Sign-in provider information (Google Sign-In and/or Sign in with Apple)
You may browse some parts of the Service as a guest. Certain features (including learning progress sync, premium, AI course requests, and some account actions) require sign-in.
2.2 Onboarding and preference information
During onboarding and profile setup, we may collect information you choose to provide, such as:
- Gender
- Age range
- Field of study / primary field
- Interests and topic preferences
- Motivation and learning habits
- Skill level and format preferences
- Daily learning goal
- School-related experience and preferred information sources
- Streak goals and related commitments
Guest onboarding answers may be stored temporarily on your device until you sign in and sync them.
2.3 Profile and settings
We may store:
- Profile display name and photo URL
- Theme and language preferences
- Notification preferences and permission status
- Other in-app settings you configure
2.4 Learning and usage data
To operate the Service, we process learning-related data such as:
- Course progress and completion status
- Lesson attempts, scores, and related attempt history
- XP / summary statistics
- Streak data
- Mission / challenge progress
- Saved courses
- Course feedback and ratings
- Views of micro-info content
- Recent searches and recent lesson cache stored on device
2.5 AI course request data
If you request an AI-generated course, we process the information you submit, which may include:
- Topic, category, goal, description
- Level, duration, language
- Learning style and excluded topics
This content may be sent to third-party AI providers to generate course materials. Do not include sensitive personal data in AI prompts that you do not want processed by those providers.
2.6 Feedback and reports
If you send feedback or report lesson content, we may collect:
- Your user ID
- Message content
- Locale
- Related course/lesson identifiers
- Timestamp and processing status
2.7 Device and push notification data
To send notifications (when permitted), we may collect:
- Push notification token (FCM / APNs)
- Device platform
- Permission status
- Locale, timezone, and timezone offset
- A local device identifier used to manage notification registration
2.8 Subscription and purchase data
If you purchase or restore Premium, we process subscription-related information through Apple App Store / Google Play and our subscription partner Adapty. This may include:
- Product identifiers and purchase / restore events
- Entitlement / premium status
- Plan type and related subscription metadata needed to unlock Premium
We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Payments are handled by Apple or Google.
2.9 Information we do not currently collect via analytics SDKs
We do not currently operate Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics in the app. We also do not currently use advertising SDKs or App Tracking Transparency / IDFA-based advertising tracking.
3. How we use your information
We use the information described above to:
- Create and manage your account
- Personalize onboarding, recommendations, and learning experience
- Deliver courses, quizzes, progress tracking, streaks, and missions
- Process Premium purchases and restore entitlements
- Generate AI courses you request
- Send transactional and optional engagement notifications
- Respond to support, feedback, and content reports
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms
- Improve product features and content quality
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Legal bases (where applicable)
Depending on your location, we process personal data on one or more of the following bases:
- Contract: to provide the Service you requested
- Consent: for optional notifications, certain preferences, and where required by law
- Legitimate interests: to secure, operate, and improve the Service in a way that does not override your rights
- Legal obligation: where we must retain or disclose information to comply with law
6. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than your country of residence (including the European Union, United States, and other regions where cloud/AI providers operate). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those providers and applicable law.
7. Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account remains active and as needed to provide the Service.
- Account, profile, learning, and settings data are generally kept until you delete your account.
- Guest drafts and some caches may remain on device until cleared, overwritten, or account sync occurs.
- Feedback/report records may be retained after account deletion for moderation, abuse prevention, and service improvement, and may still contain a former user identifier.
- Subscription records may be retained as needed for billing support, entitlement verification, and legal/accounting purposes.
- Anonymized or aggregated learning content derived from AI generation may remain available in the Service after account deletion where content has been detached from your identity.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your account and related personal data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Export or receive a copy of certain data
In-app controls
- Update profile information and preferences in the app
- Manage notification permissions in the app and device settings
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID / Google Play account settings
- Delete your account using the in-app delete account flow (where available)
To exercise privacy rights or request help, email a.farukturgut@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
9. Children’s privacy
Gist is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal data, including authenticated access controls and cloud provider security features. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Third-party links and services
The Service may contain links to third-party sites or rely on third-party platforms (Apple, Google, AI providers). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for third-party practices.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy, except where additional consent is required by law.
